AL, [169-] : Almsbury, MA [to a Presbyterian minister].

A reply to 30 charges against Quakers made by the Presbyterian minister, including the assertion that Quakers are witches; the writer notes persecution of Quakers at the hands of the Presbyterians in New England. The writer suggests the minister renounce his "false principles" or cease taking money for preaching. Refers to the Quaker Hugh Cowperthwait and the loss by Massachusetts of its charter. The minister's charges were originally directed to Thomas Nickalls, Samuel Hadley and others.
